2CRSi joins the ÆTHER consortium to develop "AI Gigafactories"

The European consortium ÆTHER, bringing together key players in the energy, construction, cloud, and AI sectors, is preparing to create "AI Gigafactories" in Europe. The project begins with two sites in Strasbourg, responding to a call for tenders from the European Commission.

With an initial capacity of 42 MW and plans to reach 400 MW, ÆTHER aims to strengthen Europe's technological independence. The infrastructure promises a symbiosis between high-performance computing and energy sustainability. 2CRSi, a key member of the consortium, bridges the gap between IT infrastructure and emerging European technologies.

This project is part of a strategy for reindustrialization and digital sovereignty, with the support of local authorities and companies like Nhood and Demathieu Bard. ÆTHER hopes to become a model for industrial innovation and sustainable development in Europe.
