2G Energy AG Achieves Significant Growth in First Half of 2025
2G Energy AG reported a 28% increase in half-year output, reaching EUR 193.0 million compared to EUR 150.3 million the previous year. Net sales grew by 30%, amounting to EUR 169.9 million. The rise was driven by a 55% boost in new equipment sales and a 12% increase in service sales.
Additionally, the EBIT margin improved to 3.3% from 3.1% last year. Despite facing negative currency effects, earnings before interest and taxes rose to EUR 5.7 million. The order backlog saw a 12% increase, reaching EUR 219.8 million, supporting full capacity until the middle of next year.
2G Energy's management expects the EU's pending approval of the EEG, crucial for future forecasts. The 2025 revenue forecast has been adjusted to EUR 430-440 million. For 2026, projections remain unchanged with expected sales of EUR 440-490 million.
