3U HOLDING AG has earned the DGNB Gold Certificate for its new headquarters in Marburg, built following cutting-edge energy and environmental standards. This award from the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Nachhaltiges Bauen highlights the ecological, economic, and sociocultural excellence of the building.
The headquarters features a 2,000 sqm area over three floors, focusing on environmental sustainability. With photovoltaic technology and a heat pump system, the building operates without fossil fuels. Infrastructure for sustainable mobility includes 34 bicycle stands, some with charging sockets.
The design promotes biodiversity with extensive green areas, including greening on parts of the façade and roof, and indigenous trees, enhancing the micro-climate.
3U HOLDING AG's achievement in sustainable construction demonstrates its commitment to environmental and social responsibility, creating an energy-efficient work environment.
