50 Best Unveils Extended List of Top Hotels
On October 14, 2025, 50 Best announced its inaugural extended list of the world's top hotels, ranking from 51 to 100. This newly expanded list acknowledges a broader array of exceptional accommodations as voted by The World's 50 Best Hotels Academy. Covering 24 territories across 40 cities, it highlights 13 independent establishments.
Europe leads with 17 hotels, including prominent names like Hotel Cipriani and Casa Maria Luigia. Asia also features strongly with Bangkok's Aman Nai Lert topping the list at No.51. Notably, Amanbagh in India closes the ranking at No.100. New Zealand's Huka Lodge makes its first appearance, enhancing the list's geographical diversity.
North America sees significant representation from New York, while Mexico adds three entries. South America celebrates two Belmond hotels. Emma Sleight, Head of Content, highlights this milestone as enriching 50 Best's inclusivity and showcasing an extensive selection of superior accommodations globally.
