55 North Mining Launches LiDAR Survey and Winter Drilling on Last Hope Gold Project

55 North Mining Inc. has commenced a detailed LiDAR survey over its Last Hope Gold Project in Manitoba. The survey, which began on October 16, 2025, will provide high-resolution topographic data for refining geological interpretations and optimizing drill targets. LiDAR technology allows for precise 3D terrain mapping when used with existing geological data, aiding in accurate drill hole planning.

The winter drilling campaign will initially involve drilling 8 fences, with 2 holes per fence, spaced at 120-meter centers. The campaign aims to expand the mineralized area and test potential extensions along strike, advancing at a rate of 6 to 8 holes monthly. Drilling is expected to conclude by late March 2026, with estimated costs of $250 per meter.

CEO Bruce Reid emphasized the importance of the LiDAR program in conducting a targeted winter drill campaign, aiming to extend known zones and enhance the Last Hope system.
