A look back at Olympique Lyonnais Group's 2025/2026 season
Olympique Lyonnais recorded revenues of €223.3 million for the 2025/2026 financial year, a decrease of 18% compared to the previous year. Television rights, affected by the termination of the DAZN/LFP contract, and events had a particularly significant impact on revenues.
Despite this decline, ticket sales increased by 5%, driven by a change in accounting methods. Merchandise sales reached record levels thanks to e-commerce. Meanwhile, revenue from major events plummeted by 58% due to a less extensive program.
Regarding player sales, the club recorded a 29% decrease, with significant sales, including those of Moreira and Mikautadze.
Michele Kang's acquisition aims to stabilize the financial situation through debt restructuring. On the pitch, the club remains in Ligue 1 and will compete in the Champions League qualifiers.
