ABB Ltd Reports Strong First Quarter 2026 Results
ABB Ltd announced robust first-quarter 2026 results, highlighting record-high orders and improved business performance. Orders rose by 32% to $11,298 million, with a comparable increase of 24%. Revenues reached $8,734 million, marking an 18% rise, while income from operations registered at $1,780 million, yielding a 20.4% margin.
The company's operational EBITA increased by 37% to $2,049 million, achieving a margin of 23.5%. ABB also reported a significant boost in cash flow from operating activities, which grew by 50% to $1,029 million. Additionally, free cash flow reached $1.25 billion, the highest ever for a first quarter.
CEO Morten Wierod emphasized that despite geopolitical tensions, the demand for ABB's electrification and automation services remained strong. ABB plans to continue its strategic investments, especially in India, to expand its manufacturing and R&D capabilities.
