ABIONYX Pharma Reports Half-Year Results for 2026
ABIONYX Pharma, a biopharmaceutical company based in Toulouse and Fullerton, reported its financial outcomes for the first half of 2026. The company had a cash reserve of €26.9 million as of June 30, 2026, prior to tax credits and grants from the France 2030 plan.
In H1 2026, ABIONYX generated consolidated revenue of €1.9 million, exclusively from IRIS Pharma’s ophthalmology CRO activities. No revenue has been reported from innovative sepsis and LCAT deficiency therapies, currently offered free under compassionate use applications.
Research and development expenses decreased to €570K, while administrative expenses were slightly lower at €1.807K. The operating loss reduced to €2.27 million, despite a considerable rise in financial losses totaling €2.543 million due to bond-related expenses. The net loss widened to €4.814 million, up from €2.306 million in 2025.
ABIONYX, a recipient of the France 2030 plan, secured €8.7 million in funding for sepsis research, with €6.2 million pending receipt.
