Groupe des Assurances du Crédit Mutuel Posts Strong First Half 2026 Results

Groupe des Assurances du Crédit Mutuel (GACM) has reported a notable performance in the first half of 2026. Gross written premiums hit €10.0 billion, marking a 13.5% year-on-year increase, with savings & retirement insurance inflows growing strongly. Net profit rose to €513 million, a 3.7% increase from June 2025.

Savings & retirement insurance saw a surge, with gross inflows reaching €6.5 billion, up 17.8%. Euro-denominated funds rose by 15.9%, while unit-linked funds grew by 22.6%. The net inflows increased by 39.1% to €3.3 billion.

Property & casualty premiums grew 6.4% to €3.5 billion, supported by portfolio growth and pricing adjustments. Premiums for health, protection & creditor insurance amounted to €2.0 billion, including contributions from Germany.

Total equity was recorded at €12.1 billion as of June 2026, up 2.0% from end-2025, signifying ongoing financial growth.
