Aconnic Secures Gigabit Infrastructure Contract in Italy

aconnic AG, based in Munich, has finalized a significant contract to supply optical gigabit systems for Italy's telecommunications infrastructure enhancement. The agreement includes providing ACCEED 2102 and ACCEED 2104 systems to a major telecommunications firm, valued at 3.4 million EUR, with potential for expansion. This contract supports an anticipated revenue growth of approximately 20% in 2025 for aconnic in the Italian market, reinforcing Italy's status as one of the company's largest markets alongside Germany and Mexico.

The systems are developed in Switzerland and Germany, with all production conducted in Germany, aiding Europe's technological independence. Future plans include introducing 10 Gigabit systems and the new 100 Gigabit ACCEED 8000 to further Italy's digital network.
