ADS-TEC Energy Secures New Battery Storage Projects in Germany and Austria

ADS-TEC Energy GmbH concludes 2025 by securing several new contracts for large-scale battery energy storage systems (BESS) in Germany and Austria. The contracts signed in December alone add up to 20 MW and 40 MWh in capacity, emphasizing the growing demand for grid-integrated energy storage solutions.

This expansion follows the installation of a BESS5000 system at AAE Naturstrom in Austria, marking ADS-TEC's first large-scale project in the country. The system, with a 5 MWh capacity, integrates with photovoltaic installations, showcasing how solar power can be efficiently stored and utilized.

Company CEO Thomas Speidel highlighted the importance of these projects in establishing ADS-TEC Energy's reputation in the industry, noting a significant rise in trust from energy utilities towards their proven expertise and capabilities.
