AEONIAN Completes Drilling at Jake Target, Advances Exploration Model
Aeonian Resources Corp has completed five drill holes totaling approximately 1,229 meters at the Jake Target within its Koocanusa Project, British Columbia. Geological observations support the sediment-hosted copper-silver model, drawing comparisons with Revett-hosted systems in northwestern Montana. The project encompasses around 360 km², with the Jake Target contributing to a 50 km copper trend. Structural and mineralogical studies suggest that fault zones and breccias may have influenced copper-bearing fluid movement.
Pending assay results from drill core, surface rock, and soil samples will refine future drill targets. The current exploration highlights a district-scale approach, incorporating geology and geophysics to enhance understanding and advance the project. Aeonian's efforts have expanded their interpretation, emphasizing a stratigraphic corridor with significant exploration potential rather than isolated targets.
