Aeonian Resources Begins New Drilling Phase at Koocanusa Project
Aeonian Resources Corp has initiated a follow-up drilling program at the Koocanusa Project in British Columbia. The project focuses on the Jake Target, building on the results from drill hole KOO26-01. This hole confirmed the presence of a Revett-style copper-silver system. Utilizing a track-mounted drill rig, the company aims to test higher-priority areas between surface mineralization and previous drill sites.
The program, comprising a minimum of 1,000 meters, will extend to the Oke Target. Additional exploration includes soil sampling to develop new targets. Ongoing structural interpretation strengthens Aeonian's geological model, revealing 19 copper-silver targets within a 360 km² district.
The exploration aligns with Aeonian's commitment to environmental responsibility, minimizing ground disturbance. It highlights the potential for a substantial district-scale copper-silver system in the Purcell Basin, emphasizing long-term exploration opportunities.
