Aeonian Resources Identifies Copper Horizons at Koocanusa

Aeonian Resources Corp has announced significant advancements in its Koocanusa Copper-Silver Project in southeastern British Columbia. The integration of surface mapping, structural measurements, and drilling at the Jake Showing has revealed multiple copper-bearing horizons along a 50-kilometre corridor.

The updated database includes 98 copper occurrence sites across three stratigraphic levels: Lower, Middle, and Upper. The Middle Creston Formation, a Canadian equivalent to Montana's Revett Formation, hosts numerous occurrences. Drilling at the Jake site intersected two distinct mineralized bands but did not explore Middle or Lower units, leaving them untested.

Regional faults like the McGillivray Fault may have facilitated the movement of mineralizing fluids, creating additional exploration targets. Future efforts at Koocanusa will focus on systematically evaluating copper occurrences and testing unexplored stratigraphic units and their intersections with regional faults.
