AEQUITA Acquires European NRB Business from JTEKT

AEQUITA SE & Co. KGaA, based in Munich, Germany, has finalized the acquisition of the European needle roller bearing (NRB) business from JTEKT Group. This business caters to automotive, industrial, and aerospace & defense sectors, generating over EUR 100 million in revenue and employing around 1,200 staff across four production sites in Germany, France, and the Czech Republic.

JTEKT decided to divest the NRB business to streamline its focus on core markets. AEQUITA was chosen due to its industry expertise and efficient carve-out capabilities. Christopher Himmel, Managing Partner at AEQUITA, expressed gratitude towards JTEKT for their trust and discussed plans for further development with the current workforce to ensure high-quality solutions for their key customers. The acquisition was finalized on August 1, 2025.
