AGRANA Reports 2025/26 Operating Profit of €81.2 Million
AGRANA Beteiligungs-AG unveiled its annual results for the fiscal year 2025/26, posting an operating profit of €81.2 million, marking a 6.2% rise from the previous year. The Food & Beverage Solutions segment played a pivotal role, whereas the ACS – Starch segment struggled due to market challenges. Despite a significant revenue drop of 7.9% to €3,237.3 million, AGRANA demonstrated resilience amid political and economic volatility.
Exceptional items resulted in a net expense of €74.1 million, heavily impacting the Group's EBIT, which plummeted to €3.2 million from €40.5 million. Net financial items were hit by adverse currency effects. The Group recorded a €35.6 million loss for the period. The equity ratio decreased to 44.1%, with a rise in the gearing ratio to 39.2%. AGRANA's outlook indicates a projected EBIT increase for 2026/27.
