AgroGeneration facing the challenges and opportunities of 2026
AgroGeneration, a key player in cereal production in Ukraine, has released its 2026 performance report. Harvests of early crops, covering 11,500 hectares, yielded 46,800 tons. Winter wheat yields increased significantly, reaching 4.6 tons per hectare, thanks to favorable weather conditions. However, quality declined, with only 16% meeting milling standards, primarily due to excessive moisture.
Faced with the hostilities in Ukraine, exports are heavily impacted, limiting market opportunities. Local prices have fallen by a third, making sales unattractive. AgroGeneration is adapting its sales strategies by storing part of the harvest while awaiting an improvement in market conditions.
The war in Ukraine continues to weigh on the company's activities, creating logistical and financial challenges, particularly due to port disruptions and volatile commodity prices.
