Amap Street Stars and Macau Pass Launch New Initiatives to Enhance Macao Tourism

On March 27, Amap and Macau Pass introduced several initiatives in partnership with Sands China Ltd., aiming to boost Macao's tourism through innovative digital solutions. The event, backed by the Macao Government Tourism Office, marked the unveiling of the "Macao Authentic Delicacies" Ranking, a data-driven system to highlight local culinary businesses.

This effort aligns with the strategic cooperation memorandum signed by the parties. Amap's "Flying Street View" adds a digital layer to the experience, allowing visitors to preview landmarks and businesses. By integrating AI and navigation tools, the initiatives intend to enhance cultural-tourism synergy in the Greater Bay Area.

Notably, the "Macao City Life Support Program" was launched to help local merchants increase visibility and sales, using digital storefronts and consumer incentives. Sands China will also integrate into Amap's digital framework, focusing on seamless, tech-enhanced visitor experiences.

The comprehensive approach includes both technological advancements and strategic partnerships aimed at revitalizing Macao's standing as a "City of Gastronomy." By leveraging digital tools, Amap, Macau Pass, and Sands China are working to elevate the region's tourism industry.
