AKWEL recorded a decline in revenue in the first half of 2026

AKWEL, the automotive supplier, saw its revenue decline by 18.7% in the first half of 2026, totaling €415 million. This decrease was accompanied by net cash of €98.1 million. By geographic region, EMEA experienced a significant decline of 24.5%, while the Americas and Asia recorded decreases of 5.6% and 11.8%, respectively.

The products and functions segment suffered particularly, with a marked decline in pollution control to 67.9%, linked to the shutdown of certain SCR tanks. Revenue from the tooling business decreased by 7.6%. Despite these results, AKWEL anticipates another year of decline, with forecasts ranging from 12% to 15%.
