Alaska Energy Metals Corp. Initiates Drilling at McBride Prospect

Alaska Energy Metals Corp. has announced the initiation of a core drilling program at the McBride Prospect, part of its Angliers Project in Quebec. The plan includes eight drill holes covering 2,125 meters, targeting copper-nickel-iron sulfide showings linked to geophysical and geochemical anomalies. The necessary authorization for impact-causing exploration work has been received, allowing the drilling to commence in mid-August 2026.

The announcement follows comprehensive exploration activities, including a 2024 soil sampling and prospecting program that identified anomalies of copper, zinc, nickel, silver, and gold. The company also conducted VTEM surveys, highlighting conductive zones beneath sulfides and banded iron formations, suggesting potential for significant sulfide mineralization.

Alaska Energy Metals is focused on developing critical materials for the U.S. market, maintaining a commitment to environmental standards and governance. The prospect is one of several strategic initiatives by the company, which also includes the Nikolai Project in Alaska.
