Algo Grande Copper Corp. Launches Gravity Survey at Adelita Project

Algo Grande Copper Corp. has announced the initiation of a ground gravity survey at its Adelita Project in Sonora, Mexico. Results from rock property testing indicated that the mineralized skarn at Cerro Grande is denser and more chargeable than unmineralized skarn and host rocks. To explore these findings further, GEOTEM Ingeniería S.A. de C.V. has been contracted to perform the gravity survey starting October 22, 2026.

The company's CEO, Enrico Gay, explained that these petrophysical measurements allow for better de-risking of structural targets along a 7-kilometre corridor that shares a magnetic signature with Cerro Grande. A specific drill hole, AG-CG-PH2-003, intersected new skarn, revealing potential copper mineralization, though assays have yet to confirm this.

The survey involves 1,296 stations and aims to confirm known targets and potentially uncover new ones. Results will assist in mapping intrusive-carbonate contacts, influencing skarn distribution. Follow-up IP surveys will begin after initial calibration tests. Further exploration efforts will include geochemical sampling and surface mapping.
