Algo Grande Copper Initiates Preparations for Phase II Drill Program at Adelita
Algo Grande Copper Corp. has commenced major earthworks at its Adelita Project in Sonora, Mexico. The company has engaged Major Drilling Group International Inc. for an upcoming Phase II drill program covering approximately 8,000 meters. Initial site preparations include road rehabilitation and access route development to aid mobilization.
Construction is underway for about 30 drill pads across the Cerro Grande skarn and its extensions. These developments are set to enhance accessibility to high-priority targets, such as Cerro Potrero South and Las Trancas, enabling a district-wide drill campaign.
Furthermore, Algo Grande is advancing several exploration activities, including a LiDAR survey and ongoing drone magnetic survey, although the latter faces temporary delays. Additionally, their district-scale soil sampling program, encompassing 1,685 samples is currently being analyzed, with selected samples sent for detailed analysis.
The company also announced stock option and restricted share unit grants to directors and staff, pending TSX Venture Exchange approval.
