Algo Grande Copper Corp. Updates on Phase II Drilling at Adelita Project
Algo Grande Copper Corp. has advanced its Phase II drill program at the Adelita Project in Sonora, Mexico. A second drill rig has been mobilized to accelerate the exploration activities. Hole AG_CG_PH2_002 has intersected 28.37 meters of copper mineralization, featuring minerals like chalcocite and bornite, within a garnet-dominant skarn and, for the first time, in andesitic porphyry.
The garnet-dominant skarn hints at approaching a key mineralizing system. Hole 2, now deeper than 200 meters, aims to reach a total depth of 700 meters. The company expects this hole to explore uncharted ground and test potential skarn expansion at depths beyond 400 meters.
The introduction of a second rig is set to enhance the drilling efficiency on the rugged terrain of Cerro Grande, aiming for faster and more significant results. The company is eager to report detailed assay outcomes as they become available.
