Alta Copper Enhances Community Engagement in Cañaris, Peru

Vancouver-based Alta Copper Corp has announced recent strides in strengthening its community ties in the Cañaris District, Lambayeque, Peru. The company has played a significant role in local development, aiding with infrastructure, entrepreneurship, and transparent dialogues.

Alta Copper, responding to a request from the Cañaris District Mayor, donated fuel to maintain vital roads, connecting numerous hamlets. This initiative improved around 50 kilometers of roads, enhancing transportation and community interaction.

The company also supported local entrepreneurs through PROCOMPITE by aiding in business plans and project proposals. This year, they supported seven ventures, four of which received funding of up to S/160,000 each, enhancing local economic activity.

Furthermore, Alta Copper has conducted training workshops to promote community planning and strengthen ties. This engagement reflects Alta Copper's commitment to fostering long-term, inclusive development in the region.
