ALTEN Reports 2025 Annual Results with Organic Decline
ALTEN, a leader in engineering and technology consulting, reported a 4.5% organic decline for 2025, with revenue reaching €4,099 million, a 1.1% decrease compared to 2024. Operating profit on activity stood at 8.5% of revenue, thanks largely to reduced SG&A costs and good project management. Despite challenging conditions in Germany and the Nordics, the company achieved a profit from ordinary activities of €346.5 million, surpassing expectations.
The net income for the group was €106.9 million, representing 2.6% of revenue—a significant drop of 42.6% year-over-year. Free cash flow was €239.9 million. ALTEN successfully self-financed four acquisitions, expanding their presence in the US, India, Spain, and South America.
The fourth quarter showed signs of stabilization, with growth returning to the Civil Aeronautics and Banking/Finance sectors. However, the Automotive sector faced a sharp decline. As the company looks to 2026, visibility remains uncertain, though early indications suggest potential recovery across sectors.
