AMAG Austria Metall AG Reports Robust Earnings Growth in Early 2026

AMAG Austria Metall AG has announced a substantial increase in earnings during the initial nine months of 2026. The company reported a revenue rise of 16.4%, reaching EUR 1,323.4 million, mainly driven by increased shipments and higher aluminium prices. EBITDA saw a significant jump of 58.9%, while net income after taxes increased by 141.6% to EUR 81.7 million.

The strong performance is attributed to operational efficiencies at the Ranshofen site and favorable market conditions for the Canadian Alouette smelter. The Rolling Division showed considerable volume growth, contributing to the positive earnings trend.

AMAG's management has adjusted the 2026 EBITDA forecast to a range of EUR 200 to 220 million. Challenges such as exchange rate effects and increased energy prices could impact future results, but the outlook remains optimistic.
