Smart Communications Launches Amdocs connectX to Engage Gen Z
Amdocs has announced that Smart Communications Inc., a subsidiary of PLDT in the Philippines, has implemented the Amdocs connectX SaaS platform. This collaboration aims to deliver personalized mobile plans for Gen Z users through the KiQ app. The initiative seeks to accelerate the launch of mobile virtual network operators (MVNOs).
The connectX platform provides Smart's Gen Z subscribers with the ability to customize their mobile plans. The app allows users to alter data allocation, incorporate calls or texts, and decide plan duration. This level of personalization sets a new standard for digital engagement.
Smart can swiftly introduce new MVNOs by using connectX, which operates on Amazon Web Services (AWS). The "telco-in-a-box" platform simplifies integration and enhances the creation of unique mobile brands.
