Amdocs Reports Fiscal Q2 2025 Results with Revenue Decline and EPS Growth
Amdocs Limited has reported its financial results for the second quarter of fiscal 2025, highlighting a revenue of $1.13 billion, representing a decrease of 9.4% year-over-year as reported. However, on a pro forma basis accounting for constant currency, revenue grew by 4.0%. The company faced challenges due to the phase-out of certain business activities and foreign currency fluctuations.
Despite the revenue drop, Amdocs posted a GAAP diluted earnings per share (EPS) of $1.45, surpassing its guidance of $1.30-$1.38 due to a lower-than-expected tax rate. Non-GAAP diluted EPS also exceeded expectations at $1.78. The firm's operating margin showed significant improvement, reaching 17.5% on a GAAP basis, thanks to operational efficiencies.
Amdocs maintained a robust twelve-month backlog of $4.17 billion, reflecting an increase of 3.5% on a pro forma basis. The company continues to advance cloud and AI-based initiatives, strengthening its position despite global economic uncertainties.
