Ameriwest Announces Initial Assay Results from Bornite Project

Ameriwest Critical Metals Inc. released initial modern assay results from its Bornite Cu-Au-Ag project in Oregon. The findings come from two historical drill holes, CC24 and CC26, revealing significant copper equivalent (CuEq) grades.

Hole CC24 yielded a 190-foot section grading 5.59% CuEq, including a 170-foot segment at 6.17% CuEq, while CC26 showed intervals of 3.26% and 1.27% CuEq at various depths. These modern assays report increased CuEq values compared to historical data, though more evidence is needed to verify trends.

David Watkinson, CEO, emphasized the encouraging nature of these results, which align with rising copper demand. This program aims to validate historical data and advance geological modeling, potentially leading to a mineral resource estimate.
