Ameriwest Reports High-Grade Copper Results from Bornite Project
Ameriwest Critical Metals Inc. has announced significant copper findings from its ongoing re-sampling program at the Bornite project in Oregon. The latest results from drill hole CC30 reveal a 71.0-foot interval with a copper equivalent grade of 8.08%, sitting within a broader 110.0-foot interval grading 5.87% CuEq. These modern assays show approximately 6% higher copper grades compared to historical values.
Modern reassessment methods have enhanced the understanding of the mineralized breccia pipe at Bornite. The program, analyzing preserved historical core samples originally drilled between 1976 and 1990, aims to support the preparation of an initial mineral resource estimate.
With four more historical holes pending results, CEO David Watkinson emphasizes the potential for further discoveries. These findings could significantly impact the project's evaluation, though the economic viability remains unproven.
