Amoéba obtains a new emergency authorization for AXPERA in viticulture
Amoéba has received emergency authorization for its biocontrol product, AXPERA, to protect French vineyards against downy mildew. This authorization, valid for 120 days, follows a similar one granted in 2025. Issued by the Ministry of Agriculture, it aims to meet the urgent needs of winegrowers in a context of restrictions on copper and increasing resistance to conventional products.
AXPERA has demonstrated its effectiveness with a multi-action mechanism, helping to limit downy mildew resistance. The French Vine Institute supported this application during the critical period from May to August. Currently under evaluation by ANSES, permanent authorization of the product is expected soon.
