Amundi and ICG Finalize Equity Partnership
Paris and London, 17 September 2026 - Amundi has completed the acquisition of a 9.9% economic stake in ICG, investing approximately €620 million. This move is part of a strategic partnership announced in 2025, aimed at enhancing Amundi's position in private markets.
The partnership includes a 10-year agreement where Amundi will be the exclusive distributor for certain ICG products globally, excluding the US, Australia, and New Zealand. It also involves the joint development of new products tailored to wealth investors. The first product targeting private equity secondaries is expected soon.
Amundi's CEO, Valérie Baudson, highlighted the alliance as a pivotal step in expanding private market solutions for investors globally. ICG's CEO, Benoît Durteste, emphasized the commercial benefits and future collaboration opportunities.
