Amundi Physical Metals plc Issues New ETC Securities
Amundi Physical Metals plc has announced the issuance of 400,000 ETC Securities as part of its Amundi Physical Gold ETC series, dated April 1, 2026. This issuance, identified as Tranche 844, forms part of the Secured Precious Metal Linked ETC Securities Programme. The ETC Securities are set to provide investors exposure to gold price movements and are scheduled to mature on May 23, 2118. The issue brings the aggregate number of ETC Securities in the series to over 68 million.
The ETC Securities are backed by gold, with an initial metal entitlement of 0.04 fine troy ounces per security at issuance, now currently adjusted to 0.03963125. The series issue date was back on May 24, 2019, with the current tranche set to be issued on April 7, 2026.
The ETCs will be listed for trading across several major European exchanges, including Euronext Paris, Euronext Amsterdam, Deutsche Börse, and the London Stock Exchange. Additionally, they are also slated for trading on the Mexican Stock Exchange.
The Total Expense Ratio for these securities stands at 0.12% annually. The issuance aims to provide investors with a secured way to gain a stake in the fluctuating gold market.
