Analysis of the Gascogne Group's 2026 Half-Year Results
The Gascogne Group has published its results for the first half of 2026, reporting revenue of €201.4 million, down 3.2%. EBITDA fell to €1.1 million, a decrease of €10.2 million compared to the previous year. This decline is primarily due to difficulties encountered by the Paper business, which is awaiting the new paper machine.
The Wood, Bags and Flexible Activities showed slight growth, with combined sales of €154.2 million, representing 77% of total sales. EBITDA for these activities increased by 18%, reaching €16.1 million.
The Paper business experienced a 16% decline in revenue, resulting from a combination of an unfavorable product mix and the suspension of electricity sales. Industrial development continues, notably with the MAP7 project in Mimizan, which aims to boost the site's industrial performance.
