ANDRITZ Awarded EcoVadis Gold Medal, Unveils New ESG Targets
On August 27, 2025, international technology group ANDRITZ was awarded the EcoVadis gold medal, ranking it among the top 5% of over 150,000 companies globally for sustainability. Alongside this achievement, ANDRITZ announced new ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) targets for 2030, having exceeded its 2025 objectives earlier than planned.
EcoVadis highlighted ANDRITZ's robust sustainability management and transparent value chain. Notably, ANDRITZ's climate targets, validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), are central to its sustainability strategy through 2030.
The new ESG targets align with global climate goals, emphasizing green innovation, employee well-being, and responsible governance. Key goals include a 42% reduction in scope 1 and 2 emissions and a 25% reduction in scope 3 emissions from 2023 levels. Additional focuses are water conservation, waste reduction, and promoting leadership diversity.
