Antin Infrastructure Partners Engages in Exclusive Talks for Idex Sale
Antin Infrastructure Partners has entered exclusive negotiations to sell Idex to the Infrastructure Investments Fund (IIF). Founded in 1963, Idex is a leading energy infrastructure platform based near Paris.
Under Antin's ownership, Idex expanded its operations significantly. It now operates 60 heating and cooling networks and 32 energy production plants. It has increased its workforce to over 6,400 and doubled its revenue to €1.9 billion by 2025. The share of renewable energy in its services grew from 40% to 65% from 2018 to 2025.
The sale is expected to complete by Q1 2027, pending regulatory approvals. Morgan Stanley and Rothschild & Co advised Antin, while UBS advised IIF. Both legal and financial advisors supported the transaction.
