Aperam Reports Q3 2026 Market and Financial Projections

Aperam has issued an update on its market and financial trends for Q3 2026. The company anticipates its adjusted EBITDA to be lower than Q2's €130 million but slightly better than Q1's €90 million. Activity in Brazil remains seasonally strong, providing some balance to Europe's weaker demand in stainless, recycling, and services.

The company’s net financial debt is expected to remain stable, with a goal of keeping year-end net debt under 2025 levels. European demand remains low post-summer, while Brazil's momentum slows. The impact from trade defense measures in Europe was minimal due to seasonally low volumes.

Aperam highlights energy costs as a concern, expecting a €20 million hit to EBITDA each quarter. Amid geopolitical pressures, the Leadership Journey Phase 6 is anticipated to generate €150 million from 2026-2028, contributing €38 million so far in H1 2026. Financial results for Q3 will be released on November 6, 2026.
