Apex Critical Metals Initiates 2026 Drilling at Cap Project
Apex Critical Metals Corp. has launched its 2026 exploration program at the Cap Critical Minerals Project in British Columbia. A drill rig from Proterra Drilling Ltd. is now operational, targeting approximately 1,200 meters across four drillholes. This program aims to investigate a substantial magnetic anomaly southeast of prior exploration sites and to expand upon the 2025 CAP25-006 niobium discovery.
The deeper sections of the program will explore a geophysical anomaly identified in a 2025 survey, previously tested but not effectively reached in 2017. Two of the drillholes are slated to probe this anomaly for potential carbonatite formations rich in niobium and rare earth minerals.
Additionally, Apex aims to extend the niobium discovery confirmed in 2025, where initial assays returned promising mineralization over 36 meters. The project benefits from being fully permitted under Apex's Multi-Year Area-Based permit, with results to be disclosed as processing occurs.
