Apex Critical Metals Expands Drilling at Rift Rare Earth Project
Apex Critical Metals Corp. is advancing its Rift Rare Earth Project with a major expansion in its drilling program. The company recently secured $15 million, boosting its capacity to extend its drilling efforts by an additional 10,000-12,000 meters. This expansion aims to accelerate the timeline for the project's inaugural mineral resource estimate, targeted for 2027.
To date, 12,000 meters across 18 drill holes have been completed, with 16 to 18 more planned. Results from the initial holes have indicated significant rare earth oxide grades, highlighting two mineralized zones: the Trinity Zone and the Neo Zone. Apex plans to drill a total of 22,000-25,000 meters by September 2026, focusing on both expansion and infill drilling to enhance data density for resource classification.
In addition to drilling, Apex has initiated preliminary mineralogical and metallurgical studies to better understand the resource. These efforts include partnerships with independent geological service providers, supporting the development of a comprehensive resource estimate.
