Apollo Minerals Advances Couflens Tungsten-Gold Project
Apollo Minerals Limited has released its quarterly report for the period ending 30 September 2026. Focused on the Couflens Tungsten-Gold Project in France, the company continues to explore opportunities around the historical Salau mine. Known for its high-grade tungsten production from 1971 to 1986, Salau once produced approximately 930,000 tonnes at 1.5% WO3.
The Couflens project offers potential for the reactivation of Salau and significant regional exploration. Evidence of extensive high-grade tungsten mineralization, with surface grades reaching 8.25% WO3, suggests promising prospects. Additionally, gold mineralization along a 5km corridor west of Salau presents another strategic opportunity.
A comprehensive airborne geophysical survey has been completed, thanks to a partnership with BRGM. The newly identified Véronique-Upper Zone will be a key focus for upcoming drilling efforts. Apollo Minerals concludes the quarter with a strong financial position, holding $6.4 million in cash and investments.
