Aramco Stadium Company Appoints New Executive Leadership
On April 14, 2026, Aramco Stadium Company, a subsidiary of Aramco, announced the appointment of its inaugural Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer, marking a significant milestone in its establishment. This move aligns with Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 and its efforts to prepare for the 2034 FIFA World Cup.
Fahad Al Dhubaib will serve as Chairman, with Mohammed Al Thomairi as Vice Chairman. Other board members include Abdulrahman Alqudaib, Bader Alreziza, Nader Ashoor, Jefferson Slack, and James Bisgrove. Matthew Kittle has been appointed CEO. The leadership team brings expertise in global sports development and financial sustainability.
Located in Al-Khobar, the 47,000-seat Aramco Stadium will open this year, hosting Al-Qadsiah Football Club and international events including the 2027 AFC Asian Cup and 2034 FIFA World Cup.
