Arcus and Core Silver Initiate Drilling at Touleary VMS Project
Arcus Development Group Inc. and Core Silver Corp. have commenced their 2026 diamond drilling program at the Touleary Project near Dawson City, Yukon. The program, managed by Archer Cathro Ltd., will cover 3,000 meters, focusing primarily on the Discovery Zone and adjacent areas.
Drilling targets have been informed by significant polymetallic findings from 2011. The project benefits from prospective geology within a copper-rich belt and improved infrastructure, including the Northern Access Route, which is under development.
The Route, connecting Dawson City with mining operations such as the Coffee Mine, is expected to enhance regional access, reduce costs, and extend exploration seasons. The plan of arrangement between Core and Arcus, approved by Arcus's shareholders, awaits regulatory clearance to proceed, potentially consolidating Arcus as a subsidiary of Core Silver.
