Arkema Announces Capital Increase for Employees
On September 10, 2026, Arkema, a global leader in specialty materials, announced its tenth capital increase reserved for current and former employees in 31 countries, including France. The subscription period is set from September 14 to September 28, 2026. This initiative aims to strengthen the bond between Arkema and its employees by involving them in the group's future growth and performance.
The capital increase, approved by shareholders in May 2026, is capped at €13.5 million. Employees can subscribe shares at €45.06 each, a figure reflecting 75% of the average opening price over 20 trading days prior to September 9, 2026. Participants include employees with at least three months' seniority and retired former employees in France.
Employees may finance their subscriptions through Company Savings Plans with a lock-up period of five years unless specific early exit conditions apply. The capital increase also offers incentives abroad with one free share for every four subscribed shares, subject to a maximum of 25 shares. This move demonstrates Arkema's commitment to fostering long-term employee investment and engagement.
