BlackRock Crosses Threshold in Arkema

On February 27, 2025, BlackRock Inc., an asset manager, crossed the 5% threshold for ownership of Arkema's capital. This acquisition, declared on February 28, concerns 3,978,835 shares, or 5.23% of the capital and 4.18% of the voting rights of Arkema. The company acts on behalf of various clients and funds, which it manages, within the Euronext Paris market.

The move was driven by purchases in the market and an increase in shares held as collateral. This also included ADRs, shares from open-ended CFDs, and a securities lending agreement. BlackRock said it held an additional 335,289 shares for clients who retained their voting rights.
