BlackRock exceeds the 5% threshold of Arkema's capital
BlackRock Inc. announced that it has crossed the 5% threshold of the capital of Arkema, a company listed on Euronext Paris. This declaration, received on January 2, 2025, states that BlackRock held, on December 30, 2024, 3,851,845 Arkema shares, representing 5.06% of the capital and 4.07% of the voting rights.
This crossing is mainly due to an increase in the number of shares held as collateral. In detail, these shares include in particular ADRs, shares resulting from financial contracts such as "contracts for differences", and shares obtained via a securities lending and borrowing agreement.
BlackRock also holds shares for certain clients, where the clients retain voting control.
