Aroundtown S.A. Completes €1.2 Billion Perpetual Buyback
On October 31, 2025, Aroundtown S.A. successfully completed a perpetual notes buyback worth €1 billion, with total buybacks expected to reach €1.2 billion. This strategic move involved issuing €700 million in new perpetual notes with a 5.25% coupon rate as of October 23, 2025.
The financial maneuver allowed the company to replace higher coupon rate notes and reduce its perpetual notes balance by approximately €500 million. As a result, Aroundtown anticipates annual coupon savings of €50 million, enhancing its Funds From Operations (FFO) growth and solidifying its credit metrics.
CFO Jonas Tintelnot expressed satisfaction with the transaction's success, highlighting investor trust and its importance in strengthening Aroundtown's capital market position.
