Aroundtown SA Reports Strong Q1 2025 Performance
Aroundtown SA has released its financial results for Q1 2025, indicating a solid operational performance. Net rental income increased by 1% year-over-year to €295 million, driven by a 3% like-for-like growth that offset disposals. The adjusted EBITDA also rose by 1% to €251 million. Moreover, the company saw a notable rise in net profit to €319 million, a 211% increase compared to Q1 2024, largely due to strong operational outcomes and positive property revaluations.
Despite the positive performance, S&P lowered Aroundtown's credit rating to BBB stable from BBB+ negative, citing market volatility and economic concerns in Germany. Nonetheless, Aroundtown maintained its fiscal discipline with a successful €750 million bond issuance and a significant debt repayment of €1.3 billion year-to-date. The company also decided against recommending a dividend payment for 2024 to preserve its financial stability.
