ATIBT's Digital Platform "My Tropical Timber" Gains Traction

The International Technical Association for Tropical Timber (ATIBT) has observed promising initial outcomes from its new platform, My Tropical Timber, just weeks post-launch. Serving as a hub for tropical timber professionals, the digital platform aims to facilitate knowledge sharing, supplier discovery, and promote sustainable industry practices.

In its first 28 days, the platform welcomed 585 active users, marking a 287% increase. It also garnered over 2,500 page views and 552 new visitors, with a significant 2,260% rise in search engine visits. The platform's reach has extended across continents, notably in Singapore, France, and Germany.

My Tropical Timber offers a spectrum of functionalities, enabling users to identify suppliers, compare wood species, and access technical data. Aimed at an international audience, it supports multiple languages including French, English, Spanish, and Chinese. The platform promises to expand its data and features, improving user experiences globally.
