ASTA and Siemens Energy Extend Partnership Until 2032

ASTA Energy Solutions AG and Siemens Energy have extended their long-term agreement until 2032. This development was announced at CWIEME Berlin, a significant trade fair in the electrical manufacturing sector. The renewed contract ensures that ASTA will continue supplying Siemens Energy's transformer plants with specialized copper components in Europe. The collaboration aims to enhance supply security and contribute to the energy transition.

Dr. Florian Bertram of Siemens Energy highlighted the importance of this strategic partnership in promoting growth and supply security. The agreement supports the expansion of Europe's energy infrastructure, crucial for handling the energy transition demands. ASTA's CEO, Dr. Karl Schäcke, emphasized the commitment and flexibility demonstrated by both companies in reaching this agreement.

ASTA is investing in European production capacity, including a new site in Bosnia and Herzegovina, to meet rising demands. This step strengthens the supply chain and supports the energy infrastructure's development. Siemens Energy's role as a cornerstone investor in ASTA's initial public offering earlier this year underlines the strength of their partnership.
