Apple Highlights Ateme at WWDC26
Paris, June 9, 2026 – Ateme, a leader in video compression and delivery solutions, was highlighted by Apple at the WWDC26 for its support of Apple Immersive workflows. The Ateme solution integrates the complete immersive signal chain, using its TITAN and NEA product lines. The integration of the SMPTE ST 2110-22 format with Apple ProRes provides enhanced resolution and frame-rate, marking a significant advancement in content quality.
Ateme's MV-HEVC compression and HLS packaging maintain high visual fidelity. The system is powered by Emmy®-winning AI encoding technology. Collaboration with NVIDIA aided in managing extensive pixel processing demands, while audio is enhanced through Apple Spatial Audio and Positional Audio Codec.
